Completed in 2005, The Village of Harmony Manor is located on Fenkell, west of Wyoming in northwest Detroit . This non-profit development is a collaboration of the Michigan Black Presbyterian Caucus, Hope Presbyterian Church, and Presbyterian Villages of Michigan . Funding has been provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the City of Detroit HOME FUNDS Program.
The Best of Both Worlds
The Village of Harmony Manor has 43 fully-modern 1-bedroom apartments, cable-ready, with wall-to-wall carpeting, emergency call system, individually controlled heating and cooling, and fully equipped kitchens with refrigerator/freezer and stove. We even have specially designed apartments for mobility-impaired residents.
Within the village there is a kitchen-equipped community room, lounge areas, library, central laundry facilities, and barber/beauty shop.
Affordable, Quality Living
Provided you are 62 years of age or older and meet the specified income limits, your rent is based on 30% of your adjusted gross annual income. |
