Presbyterian Villages of Michigan is affiliated with PACE (Program of All-inclusive care for the Elderly). This program is designed to help seniors age 55 and over with chronic health conditions or disabilities stay in their homes. PACE is funded by Medicare and Medicaid.
An apartment at a PVM Village with an affiliated PACE program can be a viable alternative to a nursing home. Seniors are happier staying in the home and community they know and are supported with a unique line-up of coordinated care, providing peace of mind to seniors and family caregivers.
PACE community features include:
- Transportation to and from PACE Center
- In-home services
- On-site medical services including primary care, dental, vision, physical therapy, podiatry, audiology, X-ray and diagnostic services
- Caring professional staff
- Day center with meals and social activities
PVM affiliates include PACE Southeast Michigan, PACE Northeast Michigan, and PACE Central Michigan.
