Presbyterian Villages of Michigan (PVM) is pleased to announce David Cunningham as Vice President of Finance. David has served as director in the Office of Financial Services for Henry Ford College (HFC) since 2004 while being responsible for all financial operations for the College and its Foundation. Prior to HFC, David served in various capacities in finance for the University of Michigan-Dearborn and Ann Arbor since 1983. David received his Ph.D. from Wayne State University in 2004. He majored in Education Leadership and Policy Studies with an emphasis on quantitative research, advanced statistics and multivariate analytics.

Dr. Cunningham’s professional interests include data management, leadership and education having contributed to all facets of HFC operations and governance. Several of his community and professional affiliations include the Fairlane Sunrise Rotary (President and Treasurer), Michigan Community College Business Officers Association (all officer positions) and U of M-Dearborn Alumni Society Board (Treasurer).

In his new position with PVM he will be responsible for all aspects of Finance analysis and reporting providing new enhancements in technology and business reporting will be a key focus. Brian Carnaghi, Senior VP of Finance and CFO stated: “David’s unique blend of experience and talent are well suited for leading PVM well into the future with regard to its financial success.”
